Tonya Hollist LCSW

Tonya has spent over 25 years helping people feel seen, understood, and hopeful again. As a lifelong Idahoan, she feels most at home outdoors—especially during the growing season when she loves walking the fields and soaking in the quiet. Tonya is both a seasoned therapist and a mom of ten (step and biological), which gives her a deep appreciation for the beautiful, messy, real parts of life.

Clients describe Tonya as warm, down-to-earth, and easy to open up to. She believes in meeting people where they are and honoring their strength, even when they can’t see it themselves. Tonya is trained in EMDR and the Emotion Code, and she also draws from CBT, DBT, EFT, MI, and ME to tailor therapy to each person’s needs. She loves learning new things to better support the people she works with—and she keeps tissues nearby for those moments that matter. Tonya helps clients navigate trauma, anxiety, major life transitions, and the everyday emotional challenges that come with being human.

Whether you’re processing something heavy or trying to reconnect with hope, Tonya creates a place where you can breathe, talk, laugh a little, and heal at your own pace.
